Two days after requesting donations to prepare personal hygiene bags for the victims, employees assembled 100 market bags, each containing a bar of soap, hand sanitizer, a water bottle, deodorant, washcloths, a full- sized tube of toothpaste, toothbrushes, hard candy, plastic storage bags, and small toiletries such as hand lotion and shampoo. "PowerSouth employees are very generous with their time and resources," Curry said. "With the contributions received, about 200 people will at least be able to bathe and be refreshed physically for a few days until they can find temporary shelter and move on to rebuilding their lives. " Employees donated $550 to purchase items, in addition to PowerSouth's donated items. g (left to right) Blake Odom, Dianne Curry, Dewayne Foshee, Linda Linton and Lisa Cravey prepare to assemble personal hygiene bags for Louisiana flood victims.
